Službena putovanja
Odbor može organizirati službena putovanja u neku od država članica, državu izvan EU-a ili na međunarodne konferencije. Službena putovanja organiziraju se u svrhu izvršavanja ovlasti dodijeljenih odboru, a na njih ide samo ograničen broj članova odbora. Odbori također mogu poslati tročlano izaslanstvo u agencije za koje su u prvom redu oni nadležni, ali na najduže tri dana. Members of the European Parliament Internal Market Committee will travel to Seoul, South Korea to learn how the country regulates new digital technologies and enforces rules for online trade. The visit follows the recent conclusion of the EU–South Korea Digital Partnership. During the mission, Members will meet government officials, businesses and research organisations to exchange views and identify areas for closer cooperation.
From 20 to 23 July 2026, a delegation from the European Parliament's Special Committee on the Housing Crisis (HOUS) will travel to Riga (Latvia) and Helsinki (Finland) to examine national and local approaches to affordable housing and the fight against homelessness. The delegation is headed by Ms Inese Vaidere (Latvia, EPP). She is joined by Ms Isabelle Le Callennec (France, EPP), Mr Andreas Schieder (Austria, S&D), Mr Marko Vešligaj (Croatia, S&D) and Ms Maria Ohisalo (Finland, Greens/EFA).
A delegation of five MEPs, led by the Chair of the Subcommittee on Human Rights Mounir Satouri, visited Egypt from 20 to 22 July. On the programme: meetings with representatives of the Egyptian authorities, international organisations, and civil society.
A delegation of 10 Members of the European Parliament's Development (DEVE) and Environment (ENVI) Committees will travel to New York from 13 to 15 July to participate in the 2026 United Nations High-Level Political Forum (HLPF).
During the mission, Members will meet with senior representatives of the United Nations, international organisations, national parliaments, youth representatives, civil society organisations and other key stakeholders to exchange views on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The ITRE Committee mission to Texas provided Members with valuable insights into the future of energy, space, artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure through exchanges with leading public authorities, research institutions and industrial actors.
A delegation of four Members of the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs (EMPL) visited La Réunion from 26 to 28 May 2026.
Members of the FISC Subcommittee will travel to Brasília, Brazil, from 26 to 28 May 2026 in order to discuss developments in the area of international taxation and the fight against tax avoidance and evasion.
From 26 to 29 of May 2026, Committee on Public Health held a mission to Washington and Pittsburgh, in the United States. The delegation was composed of six Members: Ignazio MARINO (Greens), Alessandra MORETTI (S&D), Ruggero RAZZA (ECR), Valentina PALMISANO (Left), András KULJA (EPP) and Valérie DELOGE (PfE).
From 25 to 27 May, a delegation of the Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) of six MEPs led by the Committee Chair David McAllister (EPP, Germany) visited Cape Town, Pretoria, and Johannesburg, South Africa.
A delegation of TRAN Members met with the Executive Director and senior management of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) at the Agency's headquarters in Cologne.
The Committee on Budgets (BUDG) travelled to the United Kingdom from 15 to 17 April 2026 to gather information relevant to the UK’s participation in EU programmes and instruments in selected areas such as research and innovation, youth mobility, and security and defence. The mission provided for in-depth exchanges with UK authorities and key stakeholders on the state of play, future perspectives, and mutual benefits of enhanced EU-UK cooperation.
