16th EU-India IPM Meeting 30 March-1 April 2026 in New Delhi and Bengaluru, India
Chaired by Ms Angelika Niebler (EPP, DE), the Delegation for relations with India concluded a three days official visit to New Delhi and Bengaluru, from 30 March to 1st of April 2026.
In New Delhi, the Delegation had productive discussions with the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, the Minister of External Affairs and the Minister of Commerce and Industry. The delegation held the 16th EU-India Inter-parliamentary meeting (IPM), with the newly established India-European Parliament Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Indian Parliament. The IPM focused on the state of play of the EU-India relations, following the the India-EU Summit, and on the importance of strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation.
