I voted in favour because a well-designed 28th tax regime could help strengthen the competitiveness of European startups and scale-ups by reducing unnecessary barriers within the Single Market. At the same time, it must ensure fair competition, respect workers’ rights and remain fully aligned with EU rules and standards.

I voted in favour because protecting the environment requires strong legal frameworks and effective action against serious environmental crimes. This Convention strengthens cooperation, improves accountability and ensures that environmental offences are met with appropriate sanctions, helping to better protect our shared environment.

I voted in favour because Moldova’s European path depends on continued progress in strengthening the rule of law, justice reform and the fight against corruption. These reforms are essential for building democratic resilience, protecting Moldova from external interference and advancing towards EU membership.

Temporary support measures are needed to help farmers maintain their production, protect food security and limit the impact of increased input costs on consumers.

The mobilisation of the Solidarity Fund provides essential support for emergency response, recovery efforts and rebuilding damaged infrastructure, showing the added value of European cooperation.
