Întrebări parlamentare

Întrebările parlamentare sunt întrebări adresate altor instituții și organisme ale Uniunii Europene de către deputații europeni. Acestea constituie un instrument direct de control parlamentar asupra altor instituții și organisme ale UE.
Există trei categorii de întrebări parlamentare:

  • Întrebările orale adresate în cursul ședințelor parlamentare și înscrise în „Dezbaterea zilei” care pot fi urmate sau nu de o rezoluție ( articolul 142)
  • Întrebările adresate în „Timpul afectat întrebărilor” adresate în momentele rezervate în acest scop, în cursul ședințelor plenare ( articolul 143)
  • Întrebările scrise, cu solicitare de răspuns scris ( articolul 144)
