What implications for parliamentary oversight and transparency?
The workshop will unpack the Commission's July 2025 MFF proposals for a performance-oriented delivery model for the long-term EU budget, taking stock of lessons learned from the RRF. The workshop aims to inform and support forthcoming legislative work on this package, notably the draft Performance Regulation as well as the proposed amendments to Article 63 of the Financial Regulation and their implications for simplification, audit arrangements, parliamentary control, ownership, and scrutiny. Keynotes and panels will bring together perspectives from academia, EU-level actors (Commission and the European Court of Auditors), and Member State practitioners
