Dr. Viduranga Waisundara earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the National University of Singapore in 2010. She lectured at Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore (2009-2013) before returning to Sri Lanka to lead the Functional Food Product Development Project at the National Institute of Fundamental Studies (2013-2016). She served as a Senior Lecturer at Rajarata University and was Deputy Principal of the Australian College of Business & Technology – Kandy Campus (2019-2025). Currently, she is Head of Academic Affairs at the Asiri Academy of Health Sciences in Sri Lanka and serves as the Global Harmonization Initiative (GHI) Ambassador to Sri Lanka, contributing to academic leadership, research, and international collaborations in food science and health education.
