Oval-shaped complex of 2 x 1.5 km with an area of fenites up to a kilometre wide extending around the eastern margin; there is a little exposure to the west.
Together with nearby intrusions of Chiuerinde Intrusion, Camacuio, Namibe Province, Angola and Lutala Complex, Camacuio, Namibe Province, Angola, have been referred to as Serra da Neve (Pereira & Moreira 1977).

Nejoio forms a small subvolcanic ring complex of ijolites and feldspathoidal syenites, surrounded by a 200 m wide fenite zone. The complex comprises an inner zone of amphibole and pyroxene ijolite mixed with more syenitic varieties. The outer zone nepheline syenites contain abundant feldspar, nepheline, sodalite and cancrinite, with minor pyroxene, magnetite, pyrochlore and pyrophanite-ilmenite series, as well as numerous accessory minerals including zircon, sphalerite and rutile.

Mineralization age: Early/Lower Cretaceous : 104.3 ยฑ 0.8 Ma

Important note: This table is based only on rock and mineral ages recorded on mindat.org for this locality and is not necessarily a complete representation of the geochronology, but does give an indication of possible mineralization events relevant to this locality. As more age information is added this table may expand in the future. A break in the table simply indicates a lack of data entered here, not necessarily a break in the geologic sequence. Grey background entries are from different, related, localities.
