Reworked hydrothermal sedimentary lead-zinc deposit.
Mississippi Valley-type (MVT) deposit. Zn-Pb mineralization mainly occurs in breccia dolomite, which is produced in bedding under the control of the interlayer fracture zone.
Orebodies are primarily stratiform and lenticular in shape, with the breccia type being the most prevalent after mineralization. Three mineralization stages have been identified based on mineral assemblages and cross-cutting relationships: vein-type, high-grade massive ores, and breccia-type representing (i) pre-ore sedimentary and diagenetic, (ii) hydrothermal, and (iii) post-ore supergene periods, respectively. Four stages could be distinguished for the hydrothermal ore-forming period, that is, stage I (quartz + pyrite), stage II (early bitumen, mainly distributed in the outer layer of the breccia void, in thin layers, representing the earliest material filling in breccia pores), stage III (ore-forming, primary ore stage, characterized by the longest duration for sphalerite), and stage IV (late bitumen, appearing as black clumps and drops).
