Eurostat provides a multilingual user support service that can answer your questions about European statistics.
To send your question to us, please select the support centre in your preferred language from the list below and complete the registration form.
* This designation is without prejudice to positions on status, and is in line with UNSCR 1244 and the ICJ Opinion on the Kosovo declaration of independence.
For the best possible service, we propose that you first send us your inquiry via the web-based and interactive communication system. This way is suggested if your question concerns a methodological or a data verification aspect, which can only be handled in writing.

General questions on the European Union
The Europe Direct Contact Centre is run by the European Commission. They will answer questions from the public about the European Union, by phone or email, in any of the 24 official EU languages.
The data is used for:
- mailing lists for the distribution of Eurostat publications and press releases
- to allow users to receive invitations to respond to Eurostat user surveys
- invitation lists for participants of workshops, seminars and conferences organised by Eurostat
- invitation lists for the members and private experts of the various expert groups coordinated by Eurostat
- lists of statistical trainers, experts and contact points for training
Depending on the type of contact sought with Eurostat. the following personal information is collected: first name, last name, name of employer / company / organisation, address, country, telephone number(s) and email address.
The data is stored in databases or mailing lists using Commission IT equipment and software subject to standard European Commission data security policies.
The data is processed by European Commission employees within several units across Eurostat. They oversee the relevant mailing and invitation lists under the responsibility of the Head of Unit acting as the data controller. Eurostat does not disclose the data to, or share it with, any third parties either inside or outside the Commission.
Designated Eurostat employees can access the data using a userID and password. Only these authorised persons have access to the personal data.
You have no direct access to your personal data stored in the lists. If you wish to modify or delete your data, please send a message to your contact point at Eurostat or to the central Eurostat user support. In addition, the Data Protection Coordinator at Eurostat is available for further questions.
Your data will not be kept longer than necessary in the list that contains your data. Furthermore, at any given moment you can ask your personal data to be deleted from any list managed by Eurostat.
