📢 The European Youth Centre Budapest is looking for a Head Receptionist!
Do you have strong social and administrative skills, motivation, and the potential to contribute to a range of tasks related to welcoming and supporting guests in a dynamic youth centre? As Head Receptionist, your responsibilities will include:
➡️ Receiving and registering arriving and departing guests (general information, check-in and check-out)
➡️Assisting guests during their stay (local information, arranging medical and travel assistance)
➡️Operating the main telephone switchboard and dispatching information
Issuing bills and processing payments for both individual and group clients
➡️Coordinating the work of afternoon, weekend, and subcontracted receptionists
➡️Supervising general notice boards and sales of small items (bus tickets, gadgets, etc.)
➡️Liaising between internal and external contacts
➡️Preparing statistics and reports
➡️Providing training and guidance to reception staff
➡️Acting as Security Warden and assisting with emergency security procedures
Requirements:
📌 completed full course of general secondary education and appropriate qualifications in tourism, administration or other relevant areas , a higher education degree is an advantage;
📌 minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in the field of hospitality or event management;
📌 excellent knowledge of Hungarian and a very good knowledge of English;
📌 be currently present in Hungary;
📌 have discharged any obligation concerning national service (military, civil or comparable);
📌 not be the parent, child, stepchild or grandchild of a serving staff member of the Council of Europe;
📌 be under the age of 65 years.
