Parlamentní otázky

Parlamentní otázky jsou otázky, které kladou evropští poslanci ostatním orgánům a institucím Evropské unie. Představují přímý nástroj parlamentního dohledu nad ostatními orgány a institucemi EU.
Rozlišujeme tři kategorie parlamentních otázek:

  • Otázky k ústnímu zodpovězení, které se projednávají během parlamentních zasedání a které jsou zapsány do „Rozprav dne“. Po nich může či nemusí následovat usnesení ( článek 142)
  • Otázky „Doby vyhrazené pro otázky“ kladené v době vymezené pro tento účel během plenárních zasedání ( článek 143)
  • Otázky k písemnému zodpovězení formulované se žádostí o odpověď písemnou formou ( článek 144)
