Preguntas parlamentarias

Las preguntas parlamentarias son preguntas dirigidas por los diputados al Parlamento Europeo a otras Instituciones y órganos de la Unión Europea. Constituyen un instrumento directo de control parlamentario respecto a otras Instituciones y órganos de la UE.
Se distinguen tres categorías de preguntas parlamentarias:

  • Las preguntas orales formuladas durante las sesiones parlamentarias e inscritas en los «Debates del día» que pueden ir seguidas o no de una Resolución ( artículo 142)
  • Las preguntas para el «Turno de preguntas» formuladas durante las sesiones plenarias en los momentos previstos para ello ( artículo 143)
  • Las preguntas escritas formuladas con solicitud de respuesta escrita ( artículo 144)
