How to Sign Up

Anyone anywhere in the world with an internet connection can search, read, share and embed all United Nations books and journals via the online reader feature. Content can be downloaded if your institution has a subscription.

Registering on the UN iLibrary enables you to use personalisation features offered on the site such as: 

• tagging content items as your favourites for sharing or reference  

• saving searches for re-use  

• activating these saved searches to receive email alerts, notifying you of relevant new content that has been added. 

All users can read UN iLibrary content by clicking on the READ icon. READ editions are optimized for mobile devices and can be read online wherever there is an internet connection - desktop computer, tablets or smart phones. They are also shareable and can be easily embedded.  

Subscribers can download and use other formats available on the UN iLibrary. Most content is available in PDF format. Some content is also offered in ePub or accessible ePub formats.  If you would like to access these formats and services, please contact your library to ask about subscription access.
