A bull ant is a Beast of Burden summoned by a bull ant pouch. It requires level 40 Summoning to summon.

Bull ants can hold up to 9 items and 15,000,000 coins. As with most Beasts of Burden, they cannot hold most untradeable items, and items that are deemed "too valuable". Though, the familiar cannot hold rune essence, pure essence, or impure essence even though they are tradeable.

The familiar will drop all the stored items onto the ground if the duration ends, if the player dismisses the familiar, or if the familiar is killed in combat. Players will be alerted when one-minute remains, and when 30 seconds remain before the bull ant vanishes.

The familiar can cast the special move by consuming a Bull Ant scroll (Unburden), which restores run energy by half the Agility level. It is very useful for running for long periods of time.

Trivia

Bull ants, or Myrmecia, is a genus of ant. They contain some of the deadliest and most aggressive ants in the world. A single sting from some types of bull ants can be fatal if an allergic reaction occurs.
The bull ant's dialogue is a reference to stereotypical military drill instructors.
It originally could only hold 3 items but this was increased to 9 with the Summoning 2 update.
