The European Parliament offers an extensive range of advanced audiovisual facilities designed for broadcasters and multimedia journalists covering European affairs. Located in both Brussels and Strasbourg, these state-of-the-art studios enable you to produce high-quality content from the heart of European democracy - completely free of charge.

Whether broadcasting live, recording interviews, or producing comprehensive multimedia content, our facilities and technical support meet the highest professional standards.

Facilities at media disposal:

  • TV Studios: Fully equipped for live broadcasts, pre-recorded programs, and interviews, these broadcast studios require a journalist on-site and, Member of the European Parliament (MEP) as a guest. Available exclusively for media professionals.
  • Multimedia Round-Table Sets: Perfect for live streaming or recording debates and discussion programs, these sets allow for connections to multiple multimedia platforms and hybrid events. On-site and remote participation is possible, with the requirement of having at least one MEP as an invited speaker.
  • Radio Studios: These studios are suitable for live transmissions and high-quality audio production, permitting either on-site or remote presence. They can also be used for recording podcasts without the need for an MEP to be present.
  • Stand-Up Positions: Located near the hemicycle where key decisions and debates occur, these positions are ideal for short live or recorded interventions with or without the presence of an MEP.
  • Working Spaces: Bookable for customized setups throughout the day, these areas are to be used with the journalist’s own equipment and crew.
  • Camera Crews: Teams available to support your interviews with MEPs from preparation to final delivery across different EP premises.
  • Photo Service: Possibility to request a photographer for up to 10 minutes to take shots during interviews with Members.
