63% of European companies are using or plan to use AI or Algorithmic management systems. How exactly are they using or planning to use AI at work? 🤖 Among surveyed companies that use or plan to use AI, the most common areas are: - customer service - performance monitoring - logistics and staff scheduling Around one in five use it to select training for workers, and 9% for HR decisions such as hiring, promotion or firing. 👥 The Eurobarometer asks people across all EU countries what they think about the issues shaping their lives. It helps us understand how people experience change, not only how it looks on paper 👉 https://lnkd.in/gs8VW7kT Which categories surprises you the most?

Better-quality jobs help build a strong, productive and competitive economy. The 2026 European Employment and Social Outlook shows that job quality in the EU has improved over the past decade, with progress in pay, job security and working time. Better-quality jobs can: ☑️ Raise productivity by improving motivation ☑️ Reducing staff turnover ☑️ Encouraging skills development ☑️ Supporting better work organisation At the same time, important challenges remain: job quality still varies across countries, sectors and occupations, while Europe faces slowing employment growth, weak productivity growth and pressure on household incomes from high energy prices. Labour shortages are often more pronounced in poorer-quality jobs, showing that improving job quality can help attract and retain workers where they are most needed. Later this year, we will present the Quality Jobs Act through which we want to make sure work is available, fair, safe and rewarding for everyone. When social policies translate into fair social rights 🙌 Moving to work in another EU country should not mean losing your social rights, facing unnecessary paperwork or seeing your skills undervalued. At the same time, labour mobility should not create unfair competition for those who stay in their home countries. With the Fair Labour Mobility Package, we will: 📱 make social security documents digital and easier to verify 📜 make skills and qualifications easier to understand and recognise across borders 🤝 strengthen enforcement and cooperation to protect workers and fair businesses Whether you move or stay, fair labour mobility should work for everyone. It is #WorldMentalHealthDay 🧠 According to a 2025 report by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA), 40% of respondents in the EU had access to counselling or psychological support at work. Workers' mental health should be protected. That is why we advocate for: ☑️ Clear boundaries, addressing the “always-on” work culture ☑️ Fair treatment, ensuring workplaces respect workers’ rights without career drawbacks ☑️ Workers’ well-being, supporting physical and mental health and a better work-life balance Source: OSH Pulse 2025 → link.europa.eu/b3JqGf
