Euroopa kodanikualgatus
Euroopa kodanikualgatus tähendab, et miljon inimest, kes esindavad vähemalt veerandit ELi liikmesriikidest, võivad nõuda, et Euroopa Komisjon esitaks õigusakti ettepaneku tema pädevusvaldkonda kuuluvas küsimuses. Edukaks osutunud algatuse korraldajatel palutakse seda tutvustada Euroopa Parlamendis teemavaldkonna eest vastutavas parlamendikomisjonis toimuval avalikul kuulamisel.
