Initiatives citoyennes européennes
L'initiative citoyenne européenne permet à un million de citoyens issus d'au moins un quart des États membres de l'Union européenne de demander à la Commission européenne de proposer un acte législatif dans un domaine relevant de sa compétence. Les organisateurs d'initiatives fructueuses sont invités à présenter leur initiative lors d'une audition publique organisée au Parlement européen par la commission compétente pour l'objet de l'initiative. On Tuesday, 2 December 2025, the organisers of the European Citizens' Initiative will present their initiative at a public hearing held by the FEMM committee with involvement of PETI and with the participation of the DEVE, SANT and LIBE committees in presence of Hadja Lahbib, Commissioner for Equality; Preparedness and Crisis Management.
The Committee on Petitions will hold a public hearing on the European Citizens' Initiative (ECI) "Cohesion policy for the equality of the regions and sustainability of the regional cultures" with the participation of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, the Committee on Culture and Education the lead Committee on Regional Development on 25 June 2025, from 14:30-17:30
