Európska iniciatíva občanov umožňuje jednému miliónu občanov z aspoň štvrtiny členských štátov požiadať Európsku komisiu, aby navrhla právne predpisy v oblastiach, ktoré patria do jej právomoci. Organizátori úspešných iniciatív sú pozvaní, aby svoju iniciatívu predstavili na verejnom vypočutí v Európskom parlamente pred legislatívnym výborom zodpovedným za danú záležitosť. On Tuesday, 2 December 2025, the organisers of the European Citizens' Initiative will present their initiative at a public hearing held by the FEMM committee with involvement of PETI and with the participation of the DEVE, SANT and LIBE committees in presence of Hadja Lahbib, Commissioner for Equality; Preparedness and Crisis Management.
