Quantum Africa at the GESDA - Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipator 🌍 Quantum Africa is proud to have been represented at the Science and Diplomacy Week hosted by GESDA, held at CERN 🇨🇭 This participation marks a significant step forward for Africa’s presence in the global quantum dialogue, highlighting the growing talent, innovation, and leadership emerging across the continent. We extend our sincere thanks to Stéphane Decoutère for the kind invitation and to the OQI – Open Quantum Institute and Martin Gastal for their continued efforts in making quantum technologies more accessible worldwide. It was a pleasure to connect with members of the African quantum ecosystem, including Prince Koree Osei, PhD, Charlene (Asiedu) Danso Amoah, and the QUALARIA team, Augustina Agyeman, and Prince Dorcis, winners of the first Quantum African Hackathon, and to engage in impactful conversations with global quantum leaders. Quantum Africa also attended the GenQ Hackathon opening ceremony, where the challenges and discussions led by Alexandra Beckstein and Tobias Denzler showcased the next generation of quantum innovators. We are proud to see African voices and contributions increasingly recognized in shaping the future of quantum science and technology on the world stage 🌍 IBM IBM Quantum Microsoft Google International Year of Quantum Science and Technology Africa Quantum Consortium QAI Ventures Quantinuum #QuantumAfrica #GESDA #ScienceDiplomacy #CERN #OpenQuantumInstitute #QuantumLeadership #QuantumComputing #AfricaInQuantum #QuantumInnovation

With 2025 being celebrated as "The International Year of Quantum Science and Technology", it’s truly an exciting time to be part of the global quantum community! With so many exciting activities happening around quantum, we at ISAQC (International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIITH)) had the privilege of hosting the Qiskit Fall Fest 2025 in collaboration with IBM Quantum — bringing together students, researchers, and enthusiasts to explore the future of this transformative field. I had the honour of moderating a panel discussion on “Emerging Domains in Quantum”, where we delved into the rapidly evolving frontiers of Quantum Hardware, Quantum Error Correction, and Quantum Cryptography — highlighting where the domains are headed next. A heartfelt thank you to our incredible panelists — Dr. Lalitha Vadlamani, Dr. Kannan Srinathan, and Dr. Devendra Mishra — for sharing such inspiring insights and perspectives. I would also like to thank Mrs. Guncha Malik for an engaging session on 'Job Opportunities in Quantum'. A big shoutout to my amazing ISAQC team for their relentless efforts and teamwork in making this event a huge success. #Quantum #IIITH #QFF #QFF2025 #IBMQuantum #ISAQC #Qiskit

A Quantum Day organised by NCSR "DEMOKRITOS", the University of Patras and the University of West Attica and included in the global UNESCO events for the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, where our CEO Olga Alexopoulou presented quantum pigments. Until now we have had major categories such as oil paints and acrylics, now the new category is using quantum confinement to shine brighter and shape the future of art and design. #QuantumTechnology #QuantumPigments
